Before / After (consent first)
Transformation, With Permission
Before / After (consent first)Pro / Crew
When to use it: For the one job a month that genuinely changed how a space looks or works.
The structure
- Line 1: "Permission to brag on this one: granted."
- The before state in one honest sentence (including how long it had been that way, if the customer is comfortable).
- The middle: one sentence on the decision that mattered most (material, layout, scope cut).
- The after, described in the customer's words if they gave you a quotable line.
- Close: "Same crew, same process for smaller jobs too — [booking channel]."
Guidance — read before you write
Reserve this for real transformations; using it weekly makes it noise. The middle sentence — the decision — is what future customers actually buy. Always confirm the customer is happy to be featured before drafting, and let them see the post first if they ask.
Imagery rule for this framework: real photos of the real job, with the customer's consent asked and noted in the caption. If an image is AI-generated or AI-altered beyond basic crop/brightness, label it as AI-generated in the caption — Pennsylvania's Act 99 posture across this portfolio is default-to-label.
A worked example
"Permission to brag on this one: granted. This kitchen had not been touched since 1994 and the owners had stopped cooking in it. The decision that mattered: keeping the original footprint and spending the savings on lighting instead of moving walls. Her review said it better than we can: 'I cooked Sunday dinner for nine people and nobody had to squeeze.' Same crew does single-room refreshes too — message us."
