Thank You to the Neighborhood
Community & CrewPro / Crew
When to use it: After a surge you did not earn by advertising: referrals, a kind post about you, a street that booked together.
The structure
- Line 1: name the neighborhood and the true thing that happened.
- Line: the honest arithmetic of what referrals mean to a small crew (fewer ads, steadier work) in one sentence.
- Line: the specific thank-you — a name only with permission, otherwise the street/area.
- Close: how you are paying it forward, concretely and already-done (not a promised giveaway).
Guidance — read before you write
Gratitude posts convert because they are rare and specific. "Paying it forward" must be past tense and real — a thing you did, not a contest you are launching. If a customer started the referral chain, ask before naming them.
A worked example
"Fairview did something kind this month: eleven of you booked gutter cleaning off each other's porches, and three sent neighbors our way. For a two-truck outfit, that is a month with no ads at all — just work. We have put the ad money into a free gutter check day for the senior center list instead. Thank you. Seriously."
