The Quiet-Week Opening

Offers & OpeningsFree starter set

When to use it: Only in a genuinely quiet week, posted the moment you know the slots exist.

The structure

  1. Line 1: "Honest post: this week is quiet. We have [real number] openings for [service] on [real days]."
  2. Line: why it is quiet, if you know (season gap, a job moved) — one clause, no drama.
  3. Line: the standard price, unchanged, or the small true concession you are making and why.
  4. Close: "When they are gone this post comes down." — and then actually take it down / update it.

Guidance — read before you write

This is the anti-fake-scarcity framework: real slots, real days, post removed when filled. Businesses ruin this by running it every week — at most once a month, and only when true. The unchanged price is often the most credible version: quiet weeks sell on timing, not discounts.

A worked example

"Honest post: next week is quiet — a big job moved to August. We have three openings for gutter cleaning, Tue–Thu, at the standard rate. First three messages get them, and this post comes down when they are gone. If you were quoted in the spring and waited, this is your week."
