The Milestone Thank-You
Reviews & ThanksPro / Crew
When to use it: Only when the milestone is TRUE and countable: 100th job, 5 years, 1,000th lawn.
The structure
- Line 1: the milestone, with the real number and the real date range.
- Line: what the number is made of (streets, neighborhoods, repeat families) — not revenue.
- Line: one sentence of specific gratitude, no humble-brag.
- Close: the small true thing you are doing to mark it (a free add-on for existing customers this month, a donation you actually made) — or nothing at all.
Guidance — read before you write
If you cannot count it, do not post it. "Serving the community since…" with no number is filler; a counted milestone is a receipt. Marking it with a gift is optional — a plain thank-you from a business people like is enough.
A worked example
"This week we mowed our 1,000th Erie lawn. That number is made of about 300 streets, a lot of repeat families, and exactly one dog who supervises from the porch on West 26th. Thank you for keeping a two-truck outfit booked. Existing customers: edging is on us through the end of the month — no code, just mention this post."
