Local Supplier Spotlight

Community & CrewFree starter set

When to use it: Monthly — a business you actually buy from, in your town.

The structure

  1. Line 1: "Where our [material/supply] comes from: [supplier], [street/town]."
  2. Line: one true thing about working with them (the early opening, the odd size they stock, the save they made for your customer).
  3. Line: what it means for the customer (faster restock, local warranty handling).
  4. Close: tag them, thank them, no ask attached.

Guidance — read before you write

Spotlight posts with no ask attached are the cheapest goodwill in local marketing — the supplier shares it, their customers meet you, and your feed stops being all offers. Only spotlight suppliers you genuinely use; a rented compliment is easy to spot.

A worked example

"Where our lumber comes from: the yard on West 12th, same family running it since the 80s. They open at 6:30 for contractors, which is why a surprise rot repair does not cost your job a day. For you it means: when something unexpected shows up mid-job, we are back the same afternoon, not 'waiting on materials.' Thanks, folks."
