We Are Hiring From This Town
Community & CrewPro / Crew
When to use it: When a real opening exists — post the real terms, not a teaser.
The structure
- Line 1: "Real opening: [role], [hours], based in [town]."
- Lines: pay range (a real range), what the work actually is day-to-day, what experience is NOT required.
- Line: what you provide (truck, tools, training) and the schedule truth (early starts, Saturdays — whatever is real).
- Close: exactly how to apply, and the date you will reply to everyone by.
Guidance — read before you write
A job post with the pay range in it gets shared by people who would never share an ad — and it doubles as a growth announcement ("they are hiring = they are booked"). Reply to every applicant by the date you promised; in a small town, your hiring manners are your brand.
A worked example
"Real opening: cleaner, 28–32 hrs/week, based in Erie. $17–19/hr to start depending on experience, paid drive time between houses, we provide everything including the car for route days. Early starts (7:30) are real; weekends are not. No pro experience needed — we train; reliability is the whole resume. Apply by message here or the site form. Everyone hears back by Friday the 12th, either way."
